The Ripsaw Drink Finder Chrome and Firefox extension (“the extension”) is provided by borrachos.bar at no cost. This privacy policy describes how the extension handles data.

Data Collection

The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information, health information, financial information, authentication data, personal communications, web history, user activity, or website content.

Data Storage

The extension uses the browser’s local storage API to save:

  • Your search queries (cocktail name or ingredient searches)
  • Your active filter selections (spirit type, calorie range)
  • Expanded/collapsed card state for the current session

All stored data remains on the user’s device. No data is synced to the cloud or transmitted to any server. The cocktail database is bundled entirely within the extension — no network requests are made to fetch recipe data.

Data Transmission

The extension makes no network requests. The entire cocktail database (101 recipes, calorie data, ingredient lists) is bundled in the extension package. Links to borrachos.bar recipes open in the browser only when the user clicks them — the extension does not transmit any data when doing so.

The extension requires no host permissions and makes no network requests.

Third-Party Services

The extension does not use any third-party services. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and no remote data fetching of any kind.

Data Sales and Transfers

  • We do not use user data for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose (searching cocktail recipes)
  • We do not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes

Children’s Privacy

The extension does not collect any data from users, including children under 13.
